Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) are used on benjamin-fontannaz.ch and how you can choose. More about the processing of personal data in the Privacy Policy.
1. Your choice depends on where you are
- Outside the United States (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada and other countries): nothing optional is loaded before you choose. The banner offers “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customize”, equally visible.
- In the United States: the optional content is active unless you opt out with “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out.
The region is estimated from the time zone of your device, without any request to an external service. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Your choice is asked again after 12 months.
2. What is used
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| fc-consent (local storage) | This website (first party) | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choice, its date and the type of banner shown. Stays in your browser. | 12 months, or until you clear your browser data |
| Google cookies (for example NID, AEC, SOCS) | Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (third party) | External media | Set by Google when the interactive Google Maps map in the footer is shown: map settings, security and, according to Google, advertising. See Google's cookie information. | Up to 13 months, as set by Google |
The website itself sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from this website; code libraries come from the cdnjs and unpkg networks without cookies.
3. When you refuse
If you refuse “External media” (or opt out in the United States), the interactive Google Maps map is not loaded: no request is sent to Google and Google sets no cookies through this website. A map picture stored on this website (OpenStreetMap data) is shown instead, with a button to show the interactive map if you change your mind.
If you withdraw a consent given earlier, the interactive map is unloaded immediately and the picture shown again. Cookies that Google had already set in your browser can only be removed by Google or through your browser settings (see below).
4. Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
